We (the people behind the Shockland apps and the Shockland.com website) are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our services, including children. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Who Some Must Fall Is For

Some Must Fall is for players aged 13 and over. The first time you play — in the app or in your browser — we ask for your birth month and year. We use this only to decide which version of the game to give you, and we do not store your date of birth: the game only remembers whether you are 13 or over. If you say you are under 13, the game runs in a protected mode with extra restrictions, described under "Players under 13" below. If you are a parent and think your child gave the wrong answer, contact us (see "Contacting Us") and we will help.

Players 13 and Over

• There are still no accounts, and we do not ask for your email address, phone number or real name.
• You may choose a display name for other players to see. You can type one yourself (in the app or the browser), or, in the app on Android or iOS, use the name from your Google Play Games or Game Center profile if you sign in — that is optional, and you can still type your own name instead. Other players who are also 13 or over will see this name; it does not have to be your real name.
• A name you type is checked by an automated filter before it is accepted. If you believe another player's name is inappropriate, contact us (see "Contacting Us") and we will look into it.
• No chat. There is still no way to type a message that other players can see. The only communication between players is a set of preset emotion icons.
• Advertising. Ads are shown, and are not personalised: we do not request or use the Android or Apple advertising ID, and ads are chosen without it (for example, by the ad's general context). Our ad partners still receive technical information such as your IP address, device information and how you interact with an ad.

Players Under 13

We treat every player who says they are under 13 as a child, and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy requirements:

• You cannot choose or type a display name. You are given an automatically generated guest name (for example "guest1234"), and every other player — whatever their own age — sees you as that guest name, never a chosen one.
• Likewise, you see every other player as a guest name too, never a name they typed or chose.
• Advertising. All ads are served as child-directed (COPPA) ads. No personalised or interest-based advertising is shown, and the advertising ID is not used.
• No chat, as above: only preset emotion icons.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and do not use any information for behavioural advertising or profiling.
• Parents or guardians who believe we may have collected information from a child inappropriately may contact us (see "Contacting Us") to request review, correction or deletion of that information.

Information Collected

The app and browser version do not require registration or an account. Game progress (such as coins, scores and unlocked cars) is stored on your device. To work, they and the services described below necessarily receive technical data such as your IP address, device type and operating system or browser version, and basic gameplay data (for example your position and score during an online match).

Online Multiplayer

Online matches are provided through the Photon real-time networking service (Exit Games). During a match, other players can see your guest name or, if you are 13 or over and chose one, your display name, and your in-game actions. Photon receives the data needed to connect you to a match, including your IP address.

Third-Party Services and Advertising SDKs

Our apps use third-party services to display advertising and measure app performance. These services may collect and process data on our behalf, such as IP address, device type and general usage data. Currently, this includes:

• Unity LevelPlay (ironSource), used for ad mediation.
• The app also contains the Unity Ads and Google AdMob software that LevelPlay can use as ad networks. Which networks actually serve ads is set in our LevelPlay account.
• If you are 13 or over and choose to sign in with Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iOS), that service receives your device's player ID and any scores you post to its leaderboards, under its own privacy policy.

We do not currently use the Android or Apple advertising ID, for any player. We may add or change third-party service providers, or start using the advertising ID for personalised ads shown only to players aged 13 and over, from time to time; this policy will be updated to reflect any such change before it happens.

Website and Analytics

On the pages of this website (shockland.com) we use Google Analytics, a service of Google, to count visits: which pages are read, roughly where visitors are, and what kind of device and browser they use. It sets cookies. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization for this property. You can block it in your browser settings or with an extension, or use Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Analytics is not used in our games, and not on the page where the browser version of the game is played.

Disclosing Information

We do not sell or share your personal information with other parties, except:

• With your (or your parent/guardian's) permission.
• When required by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process.
• When we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of a user or the public, or to investigate potential violations of our terms.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify users before any transfer of information and prior to it becoming subject to a different privacy policy.
• With service providers (such as the services listed above) who process data on our behalf, under obligations to protect it appropriately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here, and material changes will be highlighted where appropriate. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Requesting Deletion of Your Data

We do not run our own account system or server-side database of player data, so there is usually nothing on our side to delete. Game progress saved only on your device (coins, cars, settings) is deleted immediately by uninstalling the app or clearing its data yourself. Data held about you by Google Play Games, Apple Game Center, or our ad and multiplayer service providers (see "Third-Party Services and Advertising SDKs" and "Online Multiplayer" above) is controlled by those providers under their own privacy policies; you can request its deletion directly through your Google or Apple account, or that provider's own tools.
